For the last 35 years, many of my paintings have captured the spirit and wonder
of the Animal Kingdom, from my own "wild" household pets to the magnificence of the
wildebeest and warthogs of the Serengeti, to the elk of the nearby New Mexico forests,
to the birds bathing in the fountain of my studio garden.
Every one of these animals, every sentient being, carries within it, the magic, mystery,
and miracle of its essence. If we take the time to value and honor these creatures, their
wisdom can be like a helpful fellow traveler, accompanying us along our path, revealing
their spirit, to allow us to discover our own.
